CARAVAN CHRONICLES Preview & BON VOYAGE PACKOUTFundraisers: Turkmenistan version

18th & Union - an arts space, 1406 18th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122

Come be our final eyes before we fly to Central Asia! We are honored to have been invited by the US Embassy to bring our work to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. CARAVAN CHRONICLES goes to a country on the Silk Road! We have families of blood, we have families of choice, and we have families of circumstance. And no matter where we go in the world, we find connections and shared values with ‘family’ we haven’t met yet. A quartet of ‘cousins’ (Llysa Holland, Andrew Litzky, K. Brian Neel and Shermona Mitchell) dive into the shared stories and traditions of a sprawling, but oh-so-familiar tribe while audience members become ‘part of the family’ as they experience a semi-traditional yet highly idiosyncratic family reunion.

We are putting the final touches on CARAVAN CHRONICLES, checking the storylines, playing with Peeps, testing the supertitles and projections and We NEED AN AUDIENCE! Please come -

OPEN REHEARSAL 11/10 - 5pm 11/12 - FINAL PREVIEW! BON VOYAGE PACKOUT FUNDRAISER! and Peep-roasting....

PARK BENCH is an interactive public art piece that often resembles a tiny park on a rolling hill, where we invite people to have a seat and have a chat from a slightly different perspective. We ask you to tell us your thoughts, and we’ll tell the world.  But…. COVID-19 has impacted our lives/work, too -  SO we adapt~

These are recorded phone calls and cellphone-recorded voice memos. You will hear differences in recording quality as we go, but hopefully you can still hear the CONVERSATION, and engage with that wherever you are.
